Half the field gets cut down every Saturday from here on out, until one team is left to hoist Walnut and Bronze in Stagg Bowl XXXVII on Dec. 19 in Salem, Va. So this weekend isn't all that different from any other, except that we'll lose 16 teams, most of them between now and 4 p.m. ET today.

It's the best two-hour period of the season, by most accounts, when games come down to exciting finishes and we have our first look at the second-round pairings. And you can follow it all on D3football.com, through our Scoreboard, updated with games in progress.

Johns Hopkins pulled off the first upset of the tournament, scoring the final 16 points to knock off Hampden-Sydney 23-7. Trine is trying to do the same, up big on Case Western Reserve in the fourth quarter. Coe struck first at St. John's and leads 20-14 at the half, while Mount Union is blowing out Washington and Jefferson.

Also on Saturday, a handful of teams in the East will be playing in ECAC postseason bowl games, plus Geneva and Greenville will play in the NCCAA's Victory Bowl, ending their season.
