Tune in to the Aztec Bowl

We keep meaning to mention that the Aztec Bowl is at 2 p.m. on Saturday. You can get more information at the Aztec Bowl’s web site. They also do preview shows talking with the seniors who comprise the team, and the final one runs tonight from 7:30-9 ET.

Tune over for the end of the Aztec Bowl after we leave the air on Saturday.

    Maybe I missed it somewhere else, but what is the logic of playing the Aztec Bowl the same day as the Stagg Bowl? I guess it doesn’t matter since the Aztec is not televised, but I suspect that some of the Aztec Bowl US Players would like to be watching the Deuce tomorrow.

    We don’t have control over that. It’s Mexico’s event.

    Ah, makes sense. Is this the first time they have both been played the same day?

    Actually, it’s a bit of an improvement.

    Last year it was played on the weekend of the National Semifinals so four teams couldn’t send reps. This year is its just two.
