I did not know that is the way the system worked. I read somewhere that teams could change regions, so I just wanted to know if Trine had a chance for a home game. My brother plays and we have a sister who is getting married that day also. Quite a schedule!!

There could be some regional shifting but since Trine is not really on the border of another region it’s not likely. And they wouldn’t be moved to a lower seed. It’s always safe to assume a #4 seed will host at least 1 game (unless you are in texas

since they are currently a #4 seed I think there is a 99% chance they get a home game if they win this weekend. They will play the 5 seed if they remain at #4. If they move up to #3 they will play the 6 seed.

Seriously though, I often think I would be much more effective at this D3 thing if I could do it full-time.

Let’s go easy on the committee members who sit on the committee. They are relying on the people in Indianapolis to get this stuff straight and to provide the infrastructure to the sport.

The baseball chair last season was McMurry (now Wheaton IL) baseball coach Lee Driggers. I know that he was in his office on these conference calls. All of the computer work occurred in Indianapolis. I hope that the NCAA uses some best practices to fix these repetitive errors!

Maybe the NCAA can hire out D3sports.com for a couple of Million dollars to get this stuff right!

When the chairman is on “In the Huddle” will he be asked how they manage to muck up their own criteria (regional records and the mileage calculator)? Their inablility to correctly record regional recors is just more ammunition for my tilting at the windmill of “regional record.”
