First- timers advance Wesley returned a Ferrum fumble on the opening kickoff for a touchdown and the rout was on as the No. 24 Wolverines thrashed the Panthers 59-14. Thiel got three long touchdown catches from wide receiver Brandon Chambers to put Johns Hopkins away 28-3. Rocky Pentello threw a touchdown pass and ran for another and Capital survived a 52-yard game-winning field goal attempt to beat North Central 21-19. Union running back Tom Arcidiacono picked up a career-high 264 yards in a 55-41 win against Ithaca, advancing to host Rowan next week. Mount Union advanced past Mt. St. Joseph and will host Augustana. No. 8 Mary Hardin-Baylor won the Texas D-III championship, rolling past No. 8 Trinity (Texas) on the road 35-6. The Crusaders will host Wesley next week. Bridgewater intercepted Chris Edwards four times, the last one leading to an 84-yard Winston Young touchdown run to put Washington and Jefferson away 30-21. For the second consecutive season No. 1 Linfield ended No. 6 Occidental's playoff run, dumping the Tigers 63-21. Next up for the defending champs is Concordia-Moorhead, who beat Coe 27-14.
