Warhawks survive, Profs go to East final
Justin Beaver returned to action for UW-Whitewater as the Warhawks hosted UW-La Crosse in today's second round game. La Crosse led in the fourth quarter but Justin Jacobs threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Neil Mrkvicka to give the Warhawks the lead for the final time en route to a 24-21 win.

Top-seeded UW-Whitewater will host seventh-seeded St. John's, which won at Whitworth 21-3. Video highlights from KXLY in Spokane, Wash. Saturday's results, with game stories.

Rowan quarterback Mike Orihel threw three interceptions but ran for two touchdowns, both in the final three minutes, to lead the fourth-seeded Profs past top-seeded Wilkes 21-14. The Profs travel to St. John Fisher, which got 120 yards and three touchdowns from All-America running back Mark Robinson in a 27-21 win at Springfield. Pride quarterback Chris Sharpe was limited to 69 yards as Andrew Jackson led the way with 120 yards on 23 carries.

In the South, Wesley defeated Carnegie Mellon 37-0 behind 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns by Michael Clarke. The Wolverines will host Mary Hardin-Baylor, which led by double digits for most of the second half before W&J scored a touchdown with 5.6 seconds left to cut the final score to 30-27. Zach Newcomb hit a 55-yard field goal in the second quarter for the Crusaders.
