Fantastic finishes
The 2007 regular season is over. And just like last year, No. 16 Bethel finished it by beating No. 3 St. John's 17-14. Logan Flannery punched it in from 1 yard out with 23.9 seconds left as the Royals punched their playoff ticket in capturing the MIAC title.

No. 4 Central had just enough magic to pull out another fourth-quarter comeback, beating No. 12 Wartburg on a field goal with three seconds left for their third consecutive IIAC title. Wartburg gets knocked to the bubble with the loss.

But the game of the day was in New York where Hartwick beat Utica 72-70 in quadruple overtime, setting an NCAA record for combined score. The Hawks' win, coupled with No. 6 St. John Fisher beating Alfred 39-18, gives Hartwick the Empire 8 title. The Cardinals are very strong Pool C candidates at 9-1. Saturday's scores.

Playoff Toolbox
Who has won? Saturday's scores.
Who airs pairings?
Selection show, Sunday morning.
Hampden-Sydney defeated rival Randolph-Macon 31-13 to take home the ODAC championship, an automatic bid to the playoffs and bragging rights in "The Game."

No. 13 Trinity (Texas) is headed back to the playoffs after rolling Austin 41-13. So is No. 25 North Central who beat Carthage 56-10. That victory, coupled with Illinois Wesleyan knocking off No. 10 Wheaton 18-14, gives the Cardinals the CCIW championship. The last automatic bid went to Redlands after 1:30 a.m. ET. The Bulldogs beat Cal Lutheran 38-17 and then got to celebrate their playoff berth when Whittier knocked off No. 23 Occidental 67-61 in the final game of Division III's regular season.

In the Liberty League RPI beat Union and Hobart defeated Rochester, giving RPI the automatic bid and keeping Hobart in Pool C contention. Olivet captured the MIAA's automatic bid with a 51-0 route of Kalamazoo and a little help from Adrian.
The Bulldogs beat Alma 30-21, leaving Olivet and Hope tied atop the conference standings. The Comets' head-to-head victory gives them the playoff spot. Muhlenberg finished its first-ever unbeaten regular season by rolling over archrival Moravian 35-7.

Curry blocked a 46-yard Coast Guard field goal attempt with nine seconds left to hold on for the NEFC title, 10-7. Hear the highlight, from Coast Guard's broadcast. Case Western Reserve finished an undefeated regular season with a 20-17 win over Ohio Wesleyan. Though the Spartans can't clinch an automatic bid as a member of Pool B, the national committee has never failed to take an undefeated team from that group. No. 11 Salisbury solidified its playoff hopes with a 35-14 win over Regents Cup rival Frostburg State.

ESPN's GameDay took in one of Division III's biggest rivalries at Williams where the Ephs beat archrival Amherst 20-0. Ithaca rolled over Cortland State 40-17 to capture the Cortaca Jug and keep their at-large hopes alive. DePauw handed No. 9 Wabash its first loss 24-21 and grabbed the Monon Bell trophy.

How can you found out who makes the playoffs? Watch the selection show on ESPNU on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. ET. And we'll have the bracket uploaded at the end of the show, including our immediate reaction and your chance to vent.
