Very few surprises
ATN's take The quarterfinal round was apparently just another weekend of separating the proverbial wheat from the chaff. The elite three teams, who were three of the top four in our preseason poll and remained in those same spots entering the playoffs, rolled once again, with only Mary Hardin-Baylor, ranked fourth in the nation but sent on the road, winning by less than 40 points. The fourth quarterfinal was the competitive one, with Bethel winning at Central. Pat Coleman gives his eyewitness take in this week's ATN podcast. Keith McMillan got to see Mary Hardin-Baylor for the second time this season -- did he see anything that makes him think the Crusaders can turn around from their 27-point loss from October?
