Each week during the regular season we look at some of the key statistical performances from the weekend in Division III football, highlighting one per region.

Ferrum quarterback Marcus Mayo had a hand in six touchdowns: He threw two, he rushed for two more, and to top it off, he returned two punts (66 and 85 yards) for scores in a 51-45 triple-overtime win against Methodist. Mayo finished with 41 yards rushing and 104 yards passing.

Knox linebacker Kevin Beck had three interceptions in the Prairie Fire's 31-21 victory against Grinnell, Knox's first of the season.  The three interceptions by Beck accounted for half of a team-record tying six interceptions. Two of Beck's picks came with Knox still trailing in the second quarter.
