November 28, 2011 Maryville announces coaching change The search is underway for a new head football coach at Maryville. Athletic director Kandis Schram announced that Tony Ierulli is being replaced after nine years at the helm of the football program.

November 19, 2011 Coach retires after two years at Olivet Rich Hulkow came to Olivet after having had success at the high school level. The Comets were 1-19 in his tenure.

November 17, 2011 Kenyon's Stanley out as coach Ted Stanley is out after back-to-back 0-10 seasons at Kenyon. He told a local paper he was forced out.

November 17, 2011 Barthelmess returns to Division III head coaching The former Principia head coach is back at the top of a struggling program, as he takes over at Lawrence, which has gone 6-34 over the past four seasons. Chris Howard was relieved of his duties.

October 11, 2011 Defiance coach resigns Defiance announced Rob Taylor has resigned after nine years as head coach and named defensive coordinator Nate Jensen to replace him on an interim basis.
