May 3, 2016 Alumnus from Simpson's glory days returns In the mid-1990s, Simpson had a two-year run that included a trip to the national quarterfinals. Matt Jeter, a starter at cornerback in those years, has returned to the program to take over as head coach.

April 21, 2016 Puckhaber named coach at St. Lawrence Dan Puckhaber, an assistant coach at St. Lawrence, was the acting head coach after Mark Raymond left for Williams and was given the job going forward.

April 5, 2016 Hamline promotes from within, adds former D-III coach Defensive coordinator Chip Taylor was promoted to head coach at Hamline, while Jim Zebrowski, a former D-I assistant, former offensive coordinator at UW-Whitewater and former D-III head coach, was brought on as an assistant.

March 28, 2016 Raeburn leaves Wabash for Savannah State Erik Raeburn, who won 78 games in eight seasons at Wabash, is taking on a significant challenge with an FCS program which has one win in three seasons. The Little Giants have announced that offensive coordinator Don Morel will take over.

December 21, 2015 After 24 seasons in D-III, Hiram's coach resigns Hiram has announced the resignation of Randy Moore as head coach of the Terriers football team, effective immediately. He led the team to a 9-11 mark the past two seasons, Hiram's best seasons since 1988.
