PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Carnegie Mellon University football
team will welcome the Lords of Kenyon College to Pittsburgh,
Saturday, September 25. Kick is slated for 12:00 p.m. on the
turf of Gesling Stadium.
When the two teams meet Saturday on the gridiron, it will mark the fifth time the schools will face each other. The two teams first met in 1911 with Kenyon claiming a 6-0 victory over Carnegie Tech and then the Lords claimed a 39-19 victory in 1971 to take a 2-0 edge in the series.
The Tartans will enter the contest with a record of 1-2 and are coming off a 35-21 setback to Hobart College this past Saturday. Kenyon was idle last week after dropping a 21-13 decision to Hiram College, September 11.
