No. 15 Thunder Rout Olivet 51-14

Ja Vontae Hence (Elkhart, Ind./Concord) scored on a nine yard touchdown run and a 36-yard pass to highlight a 28 point second quarter as Trine captured a 51-14 win over Olivet Saturday in MIAA football.

Trine (8-0, 4-0 MIAA) rushed for 173 yards and passed for 168 more in the victory.

Kent Biller (Nappanee, Ind./NorthWood) rushed 13 times for 65 yards with a touchdown.  Hence finished the day with two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown, he also ran twice for 13 yards and a touchdown. Eric Watt (Kentland, Ind./South Newton) completed 11-of-20 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns and one interception.

Jacob Vance (Fenton, Mich./Lake Fenton) made seven stops to lead the Trine defense, Ben Mohr (Boggstown, Ind./Triton Central) added six tackles. Jordan Hamilton (Churubusco, Ind./Churubusco) had five stops, including a tackle for loss and one interception.

Blaek Combs (Rushville, Ind./Rushville) had a 65 yard inception return and Jeremy Mack (Elkhart, Ind./Memorial) scored on a 15-yard interception, Raymond Nelson (Cassopolis, Mich./Ross Beatty) scored on a 30-yard interception.
