BEREA, OHIO-- Senior quarterback Chase Carris threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Matt White with 15 seconds left in the game as Capital University upset Baldwin-Wallace  College, 14-11, today (Saturday, September 24, 2011) in an Ohio Athletic Conference in the 34th Annual Lee Tressel Shrine Classic on Tressel Field in The George Finnie Stadium.

With its win, Capital improved to 2-1 and 2-0 in the OAC while B-W fell to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the league.  B-W led 5-0 after one quarter, 11-0 at halftime and at the end of three periods.

Following a B-W fumble at the Capital five yard-line with 2:17 left in the game, the Crusaders traveled 95 yards in 13 plays with Carris hitting White with the winning TD toss. Carris then tossed a 2-point conversion throw to White to complete the comeback.

The Yellow Jackets opened the scoring at the 13:37 mark of the first quarter when sophomore wide rteceiver/ defensive back Kevin Johnson (Maple Heights/ Cleveland St. Ignatius) blocked a Capital punt and the ball rolled through the endzone for a safety and a 2-0 lead.
