LA CROSSE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire football team got back on track with a 31-21 victory over UW-La Crosse at Veterans Memorial Field today.

Later in the quarter, Josh Albrecht (Fr.-Eau Claire, Wis./North) nailed a 28-yard field goal to give the Blugolds a 10-point lead.

After another Hertrampf touchdown in the fourth quarter, the Blugolds went down the field 80 yards over more than eight minutes and Neu scored another touchdown on a one yard run to give the Blugolds a 31-21 lead.

The Blugolds dominated the time of possession, 39:50 to La Crosse's 20:10. La Crosse outgained the Blugolds on offense 333-320.
