PC Saints Football vs. Mayville State Preview: UPDATE

Head Coach Andy Carr and his Saints continue to gear up for their road trip to North Dakota as PC takes on Mayville State, Saturday 9/22/12. Kick off is set for 1:00pm. Presentation (1-2) is coming off a 35-10 loss at home to Northwestern. Junior QB Stephen Braswell threw for 267 yards and a touchdown. He was named the USCAA Offensive Player of the Week for that effort. Braswell spread the ball around to 8 different receivers. Sophomore RB Will Vealy led the way with 9 catches for 62 yards. Freshman WR Keenan Honore caught 4 passes for 57 yards and his 1st touchdown reception of the year.

On the other side of the ball, Freshman LB Garret Fraser, making his first start of 2012, came up with 11 tackles for the Saints. The "D" was also able to turn the ball over, Jordan Taylor and Austin Lake both coming up with interceptions. Fraser also chipped in with a fumble recovery.

Mayville State (2-1) enters coming off a win over Trinity Bible College. The Comets rushed for a total of 279 yards. Junior RB Dominuque Bradley gained 130 of those yards on 10 carries. This is the first meeting between the two schools.
