Evans - Lt. Col. Howard College Football Player of the Year Award by the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 50, based out of Pelham, N.Y. On hand at the ceremony to present the award to Brown was Ken Kraetzer, Commander of Sons of the American Legion in Pelham, N.Y. as well as Frank Barbieri, former Post 50 Commander.

Gallaudet's Adham Talaat works out for NFL scouts on campusFor the second year in a row National Football League (NFL) scouts were on campus to evaluate a Gallaudet University football player as rising senior defensive end Adham Talaat (Springfield, Va.) worked out Monday for scouts from the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins. Talaat a 6-foot-6, 285-pound defensive lineman ran the 40-yard dash, was measured and interviewed by the visiting scouts.
