DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College senior tailback Kyle Schuberth carried the ball 37 times for 214 yards and a school record-tying four touchdowns as the Aggies scored 34 of the game's final 40 points to come from behind and defeat Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) foe Stevenson University, 41-23.

Delaware Valley, ranked as high as 16th in national Division III polls, is the lone remaining undefeated team in the 10-team MAC as it improved to 4-0 overall. The Aggies and preseason conference favorite Lycoming College are the only teams to have 3-0 marks in league action and the two will meet next Saturday in Williamsport. Saturday's loss was the first for Stevenson as the Mustangs fell to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the MAC.

Schuberth missed the first two games of the season with an injury, but has come back with a flourish. He netted 148 yards and one score in last week's win at Albright and followed it up with his biggest collegiate performance to date. His four rushing touchdowns tied the mark that was accomplished five previous times. The 214 yards was the fourth-highest, single-game effort in school history while the 37 carries tied him for sixth in that category.

Schuberth and his teammates got off to a slow start as he had just 17 yards midway through the second quarter. Meanwhile, Stevenson took a 17-7 lead when quarterback John Gasparovic hit Cortez Taylor for an 11-yard touchdown pass with 7:45 to go in the half.

Delaware Valley began to get on track after that score as it went on an 18-play, 75-yard scoring drive that took more than seven minutes off the clock. The Aggies converted a pair of fourth-down plays on the drive and capped it with Schuberth's second score of the game, a two-yard run with 24 seconds left. Brandon Snyder added the extra point to pull Delaware Valley to within three, 17-14, at the break.
