Dunning, Hollowed, Shreve named CCIW Football Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Millikin's Sean Dunning, Illinois Wesleyan's Tim Hollowed and Millikin's Grant Shreve were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week Monday.

Dunning, a junior running back from Decatur, Illinois and St. Teresa High School (Communication major), rushed for 186 yards on 25 carries and five touchdowns during a 52-49 win at Aurora on Saturday. His 45-yard carry down to Aurora's nine-yard line set up the Big Blue's game-winning field goal with 47 seconds left in the game.

Hollowed, a senior defensive back from Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Glenbard West High School (Biology/Pre-Med major), totaled 11 tackles (six solo), 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one interception in a 14-7 win against Hope College on Saturday, giving the Titans an undefeated 3-0 non-conference record. Hollowed's interception occurred at the Illinois Wesleyan six-yard line on Hope's final drive that he returned 24 yards to the Titans' 30.

Shreve, a junior punter from Zionsville, Indiana and Zionsville High School (Communication major), had four punts for 227 yards, including a long of 70 yards, against Aurora. His 56.8-yard average resulted in the Spartans getting the ball at their own one-yard line, 20-yard line, and 21 and 25-yard lines.
