(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will travel to the Windy City on Saturday, November 9 to play the Maroons of the University of Chicago in an University Athletic Association (UAA) contest. The series between Carnegie Mellon and Chicago started in 1988 when the UAA was formed. The Tartans hold a 20-5 advantage and have won five of the last seven meetings, including a 31-14 win in Pittsburgh last season. Carnegie Mellon holds the longest winning streak between the two teams at 10 games, which started the series.
Last week, the Cardinal and Gray dropped a devastating 9-7 loss to Washington University while the Maroons fell 16-3 in Cleveland, Ohio to Case Western Reserve University.
When the teams collide on Saturday, Carnegie Mellon will look to put a stop to its three game skid. Kick is set for 12:00 p.m. CT.
