PAC Releases 2013 All-Conference Football Teams
GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its 2013 All-PAC Football teams Monday.
The 2013 PAC Offensive Player of the Year is Thomas More College junior running back Domonique Hayden (Lexington, Ky./Lexington Christian Academy). Hayden finished the regular season ranked number one among NCAA Division III counterparts in rushing yards (2,017), rushing yards per game (201.7) and all-purpose yards per game (223.4), while ranking second in rushing touchdowns (25) and scoring per game (16.8).
The 2013 PAC Defensive Player of the Year is Waynesburg University senior defensive end Brandon Fedorka (Clinton, Pa./Hopewell). Fedorka led the PAC in sacks (11.5) and tackles for loss (18.5), finishing ranked 11th among Division III counterparts in sacks per game (1.2) and tackles for loss per game (1.9). He led the league's defensive tackles and defensive ends in total stops with 62, and forced and recovered three fumbles.
Geneva College freshman defensive back Tim Martin (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) claimed the 2013 PAC Newcomer Award. Martin led the league in interceptions (6) and passes defended (20) and finished ranked second among all Division III counterparts in passes defended per game (2.0) and eighth in interceptions per game (0.8).
2013 PAC Coach of the Year honors went to Washington & Jefferson College 11th-year head coach Mike Sirianni. This year's coach of the year honor is Sirianni's fifth.
Geneva earned the 2013 PAC Team Sportsmanship Award.
