DUDLEY, Mass. – Junior Kris Williams (East Hartford, Conn.) has been named the New England Football Conference (NEFC) co-Special Teams Player of the Week. He shares the honor with Dylan Rushe of Endicott.

Williams electrified the home crowd with a pair of 85-yard kickoff returns in the first quarter – one of which went for a touchdown - in Nichols College's loss to Western New England University in its season finale season Saturday afternoon at Vendetti Field. He finished the contest with a school-record 310 return yards, which shattered the previous mark of 255 set by Lawrence Scott against Curry on November 1, 2008.

Williams finished his junior campaign with a team-leading 64 tackles (49 solo) – including five tackles for loss – and four pass breakups.
