SCHENECTADY, NY -- After a tremendous defensive effort in the home opener, the Union College football team is back on the road. The next three weeks feature three games in three different states. Saturday, it will be a visit to the nation's capital as the Dutchmen play Gallaudet University for the first time.

Union defeated Coast Guard, 28-13 to even the season record at 1-1. The Dutchmen held the Bears to just -4 net yards rushing, the best rushing defense number since September 9, 1995 when Union held St. Lawrence to -37 rushing yards in a 9-8 loss in Canton. Union is now 28th in all of NCAA Division III in rushing defense and 29th in sacks. Connor Kinzelmann is now second in the league in rushing after his fifth career 100 yard rushing game.

The Bison will be looking for the first win of the season, and fell to 0-2 after a tough 23-21 loss after a Greensboro field goal in the final minute. Gallaudet, like Husson, is in the ECFC.
