WATERTOWN, Wis. — Westminster outgained Maranatha Baptist Bible 368 yards to 140, but was shut out 10-0. The Blue Jays fall to 3-1 while Maranatha Baptist improves to 2-2.

Westminster was plagued by poor field position. Although the Blue Jay defense forced 11 punts, six were downed inside the 20-yard line and two were downed inside the 5-yard line. Westminster returned three punts for just 19 yards while Maranatha Baptist recorded 92 yards on five punt returns.

Maranatha Baptist held a 3-0 lead after three quarters of play and added a touchdown and extra point early in the fourth quarter for the only scoring of the game.

Statistically, Westminster recorded 19 first downs, 149 yards rushing, 219 yards passing and lost two fumbles. The Crusaders recorded six first downs, 57 yards rushing, 83 yards passing, but didn't record a turnover.

Chris Marshall completed 17 of 38 passes for 219 yards, Mark Stalnaker carried the ball 15 times for a game-high 78 yards, and Chris Hastings recorded a game-high 10 tackles in a losing effort.
