November 18, 2017 Cortland Wins at Union, 35-28, in Inaugural New York Bowl SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Steven Ferreira (West Sayville/Sayville) threw four first-half touchdown passes and Devin Smith (Utica/Utica Notre Dame) scored what proved to be the winning points on a strange fumble recovery as Cortland defeated host Union College, 35-28, to win the inaugural New York Bowl.
November 11, 2017 Cortland's Seven-Year Cortaca Jug Streak Ends at Ithaca, 48-20 ITHACA, N.Y. - Ithaca scored touchdowns on its first four possessions on the way to a 34-6 halftime lead, and the Bombers held off a brief Cortland second-half rally to defeat the Red Dragons, 48-20, in the 59th annual Cortaca Jug rivalry game.
