October 20, 2018 Ithaca Takes Down Rochester, 28-3, in Rainy Conditions ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team secured a 28-3 Liberty League victory over the University of Rochester at a muddy Butterfield Stadium on Saturday to improve to 5-2 on the season and 2-1 in league play. Heavy rains rolled through the area early in the second quarter and play was halted with just over seven minutes left in the half due to thunder. The rain let up shortly after that, but the earlier accumulation was enough to affect the playing conditions on the natural grass surface.
October 17, 2018 GAME NOTES: Ithaca Welcomes Rochester to Butterfield Stadium Saturday ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football program is back on South Hill this Saturday, October 20, for a 1 p.m. Liberty League kickoff against the University of Rochester at Butterfield Stadium. Ithaca is coming off a 24-0 victory over Union College and is 4-2 (1-1) on the season, while Rochester dropped a 52-7 decision to Hobart and stands at 1-5 (0-2) on the year.
October 13, 2018 Ithaca Stymies Union with Four Interceptions in 24-0 Shutout Victory SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football program got back on track Saturday afternoon at Frank Bailey Stadium in Schenectady, as the Bombers blanked Union College, 24-0. Ithaca forced four interceptions in the contest and held the Dutchmen, who were averaging 36 points per game, scoreless for the first time since 2007. The victory for Ithaca also extends its winning streak over Union to nine in a row.
October 11, 2018 GAME NOTES: Ithaca Continues Liberty League Slate at Union Saturday ITHACA, N.Y. – This Saturday, October 13, the Ithaca College football team will travel to Union College for another Liberty League contest beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Frank Bailey Field in Schenectady, N.Y. Ithaca is 3-2 on the season and 0-1 in Liberty League play, while Union owns a 4-1 overall mark and is also 0-1 in the Liberty League.
October 6, 2018 No. 23 Ithaca Drops Heartbreaker to No. 20 RPI, 10-9 ITHACA, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 23 Ithaca College football team suffered a heartbreaking 10-9 loss to No. 20 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday afternoon at Butterfield Stadium as part of Alumni Weekend. Ithaca drops to 3-2 on the season, with RPI improves to 5-0. It was also both teams’ Liberty League opener in the 2018 season.
