The River Hawks enter the game with a 2-1 overall record and a 1-1 Centennial Conference mark. The Diplomats are tied for the conference lead with a 3-0 overall record and 2-0 record in Centennial games.
September 16, 2017 Two Late Interceptions Seal Susquehanna Victory Jason Brougham and Connor Thompson each intercepted passes in the fourth quarter for the Susquehanna University Football team as the River Hawks came from behind to post a 14-11 victory over Muhlenberg Saturday afternoon on Frank Marino Field at Scotty Wood Stadium in Allentown.
September 9, 2017 Susquehanna Drops Back-and-Forth Battle with Johns Hopkins Senior Nick Crusco connected with fellow senior Diamente Holloway for a 44-yard touchdown with just 1:24 left in the game to give the Susquehanna University Football team a 34-31 lead but No. 16 Johns Hopkins answered with a scoring drive in the closing minute to survive for a 38-34 victory in the Centennial Conference opener Saturday afternoon on Homewood Field in Baltimore.

The River Hawks opened the 2017 season with a defensive battle and a 7-6 win over Lycoming College in Selinsgrove last Saturday while the Blue Jays opened the season on Friday night and needed to come from behind to post a 32-29 overtime win over Washing ton & Lee.
