September 14, 2017 Utica Begins Empire 8 Play at #19 Alfred Saturday UTICA, NY – The Utica College football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday when the Pioneers travel to nationally-ranked No. 19 Alfred University to take on the Saxons in the Empire 8 Conference opener for both teams at 1 p.m.
September 9, 2017 Utica Travels to Catholic Saturday The Utica College football team travels to Washington, D.C. on Saturday to take on The Catholic University of America in week two action at 12 p.m.  
September 2, 2017 Utica Tops St. Lawrence in Season-Opener The Utica College football team kicked off its 2017 season with an impressive 20-7 victory over visiting St. Lawrence University on Saturday night at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium. Utica did not trail the entire contest, holding the Saint scoreless for the first 53:43 of the game. Senior running back Nicodemus Gambill (Rochester, NY/East High) sparked the Pioneer offense with a career-high 161 yards rushing on just 16 carries and he also added two rushing touchdowns of 59 and 39 yards.
September 1, 2017 Utica Opens Up Against St. Lawrence Saturday Night The Utica College football team begins its 2017 season on Saturday as the Pioneers host St. Lawrence University in non-conference action at 7 p.m. at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.
July 9, 2017 New York conferences start postseason bowl The Empire 8 and Liberty League won't be sending their top at-large teams to the ECAC postseason bowl games, rather, they'll square off in a New York State bowl game this November.
November 12, 2016 Utica Football Defeats Hartwick in Regular Season Finale The Utica College football team outscored host Hartwick College 27-9 in the second half to rally for a 52-40 victory over the Hawks in the regular season finale for both teams Saturday at Wright Stadium. The Pioneers have now won seven games for just the second time in program-history and will await a possible berth into next weekend's ECAC Bowl games. The ECAC Bowl game selections will take place on Monday.
