October 21, 2017 Wheaton defeats North Park 56-0 Chicago, Ill. - The No. 23-ranked Wheaton football team capped its unusual week with a 56-0 rout of North Park on Saturday afternoon. With the victory, Wheaton heads into its bye week with a record of 6-2 overall and 4-2 in CCIW play. North Park falls to 1-6 and 0-5 in the CCIW. The Thunder will next be in action on November 4, when Wheaton welcomes Augustana to McCully Stadium for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Senior Day.
October 16, 2017 Wheaton surges when play resumes to dump No. 4 North Central The game for the Little Brass Bell took a few extra days to complete, when play was suspended at halftime on Saturday, But the wait was worth it for Wheaton, as the Thunder rolled in the second half to earn a 42-20 victory against the fourth-ranked Cardinals.

September 19, 2017 Five Wheaton players charged with felonies in hazing Noah Spielman, Kyler Kregel, Ben Pettway, James Cooksey and Samuel TeBos of the No. 4 Wheaton Thunder have all received felony charges, including aggravated battery, mob action and unlawful restraint. On Tuesday, all were suspended from this week's game.
