    Waukesha, Wis. – The Wheaton Thunder football team, ranked 22nd this week in the D3football.com Top-25 poll, closed out the regular season on Saturday with a 71-0 win at Carroll University. The 71 points scored by Wheaton today is the most since the Thunder scored 73 points in a victory at North Park on October 21, 2006.

    Chicago, Ill. - The No. 23-ranked Wheaton football team capped its unusual week with a 56-0 rout of North Park on Saturday afternoon. With the victory, Wheaton heads into its bye week with a record of 6-2 overall and 4-2 in CCIW play. North Park falls to 1-6 and 0-5 in the CCIW. The Thunder will next be in action on November 4, when Wheaton welcomes Augustana to McCully Stadium for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Senior Day.

    Naperville, Ill. – The Wheaton football team (11-1) defeated North Central 31-14 on Saturday in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Today's win marked the third consecutive season that the Wheaton football program has won at least 11 games, following 11-1 campaigns in 2015 an 2014. The three-year run marks only the second time in program history that Wheaton has posted double-digit win totals for three straight years, and the first time that the three-year streak has consisted completely of 11 or more wins.
