Offense
QB Patrick Subers, Sr., Albright
In his final regular season game at Albright, Subers posted a career afternoon after Tanner Kelly got injured to help the Lions earn a place in this year's NCAA tournament. His 362 yards and five touchdowns were both career bests for Subers in the 44-43 double overtime win over Lebanon Valley. Prior to Saturday's win, Subers had appeared in a total of seven games and was 10-for-37 with just 137 yards to his name.

OL Dustin Davis, Ryan Krause, Myke Gobert, Nate Menkin, Max Taylor, Mary Hardin-Baylor
The Mary Hardin-Baylor line paved the way for 480 rushing yards and three 100-yard rushers in a 48-16 win that clinched a share of the ASC title for the nationally ranked Cru. The 480 yards was tops in the league this season and the fifth-best rushing output in ASC history. The unit opened holes for 152-, 117- and 107-yard rushers. The longest play was a 78-yard scamper. Davis, Krause, Gobert, Menkin and Taylor also helped out a pair of rushers to 50-plus yard performances, got to celebrate six touchdown runs and did not allow a sack in 20 passing attempts.

RB Chris Baer, Sr., Trinity (Texas)
Baer ran for 139 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns in a 44-10 win at Austin College. He also added seven catches for 85 yards and one touchdown reception to tally 224 all-purpose yards.

RB Eric Jones, Sr., St. Lawrence
Jones had a season-high 179 yards on only 14 carries to lead St. Lawrence to a 24-21 win agianst WPI in the season finale. He averaged 12.8 yards per carry and added a 62-yard TD run that proved to be the winning score.

WR Daniel Passafiume, So., Hanover
Passafiume set a NCAA all-divisions single-game record with 25 catches in Hanover's 42-28 loss to Franklin. Passafiume had 25 receptions for 153 yards and two toucdowns in the contest. He ended the season with 114 catches for 1,054 yards and 14 touchdowns.

WR Carl Givens, So., Westminster (Mo.)
Givens caught a career-high 13 passes for a career-high 240 yards and three touchdowns in Westminster's 49-26 win against MacMurray. Givens has been the team's top receiver this season and has caught 69 passes for 1,141 yards and 13 touchdowns in 10 games.

TE Patrick Mengelkoch, Jr., UW-Stout
Mengelkoch scored a career-high three touchdowns in a 27-24 win over UW-Oshkosh to clinch Stout’s best finish since the 2000 season. Mengelkoch had five receptions for 69 yards with TDs of 12, 18 and 10 yards. Mengelkoch scored in the first, second and fourth quarters and had a 27-yard reception in the third quarter that set up a Kyle Martin 22-yard field goal. Mengelkoch finished the season as the Blue Devils’ leading receiver with 32 catches for 356 yards and six touchdowns.

Defense
DL Matt Hoffman, Jr., Rowan
Matt Hoffman didn't play Saturday, because he was a bone marrow donor match for a 51-year-old with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and was preparing to donate his marrow this week.

DL Marcus Ball, Sr., UW-Stout
Ball ran his season sack totals to 9.5 with two sacks for 27 yards in a 27-24 win over UW-Oshkosh. With the ball on the Stout 15 and Stout leading 7-0 in the first quarter, Ball had a 12 yard sack on third down, forcing a fourth-and-19. Ball got another third down sack, this time for 15 yards in the late in the second quarter. On the afternoon, Ball had five tackles, all solo, with three tackles for loss, two sacks and one pass batted down.

DL Marc McDonough, Sr., Susquehanna
McDonough made a game-high 2.5 sacks as part of a game-high three tackles for loss (totaling minus-23 yards) in Susquehanna's 28-17 Liberty League win at Union. He also recovered a fumble and had six total tackles (two solo), as SU earned a share of the Liberty League championship and the league's automatic invitation to the NCAA Division III playoffs.

LB Kyle Chewning, Sr., Maryville
Chewning finished his career with 15 stops in a 21-14 loss to Ferrum and 123 total tackles on the season, leading the USA South for the second consecutive season.

LB Tony Palma, Sr., Gustavus Adolphus
Palma registered 24 total tackles including two tackles for loss and forced a fumble to help the Gusties defeat Concordia-Moorhead 20-19 on the road on Saturday. Palma's 24 tackles (eight solo) set a school single-game record for total tackles.

LB Will Hawkins, Jr., Millsaps
Hawkins had a career-high 17 tackles (10 in the first half) in a season ending, 38-20 win over Birmingham-Southern, becoming the first Major since All-American Matt O’Bryant in 2003 to record 100 tackles in a season.

LB Kyle McGivney, Jr., Luther
McGivney tallied a game high 14 tackles and blocked 2 punts, one that was picked up by his teammate Bruce Clark and run in for a touchdown. Kyle also broke up the final pass of the game to secure Luther's 20-17 victory over Loras.

CB Kendall Wade, Sr., UW-Stout
Wade had two interceptions in the fourth quarter -- including one in the waning seconds of the game to preserve a 27-24 win as UW-Oshkosh threatened to score. Wade had seven tackles for loss, five solo.

S Jared Thornton, Sr., Olivet
Thornton returned an interception 96 yards for a touchdown to get the Comets off to a quick start against Adrian, before the Bulldogs rallied to win 45-20. Thornton also made 12 tackles, including seven solo stops, recovered a fumble, and had one tackle for loss.

S Brian Janssen, Sr., Lawrence
Janssen made a game-saving interception in the final seconds in Lawrence’s 21-17 win at Minnesota-Morris. Janssen intercepted Morris quarterback Derrick Foss at the Lawrence 5-yard line on a second-and-goal play, allowing Lawrence to hold on for the victory. Janssen added seven tackles, including a tackle for loss, to go along with his second interception of the season. The Lawrence defense stopped Morris three times inside the Vikings’ 15-yard line in the final seven minutes.

CB Justin Young, Sr., Susquehanna
Young recorded three tackles (two solo), including a tackle for a loss and a forced fumble, in Susquehanna’s 28-17 Liberty League win at Union. He also broke up a pass and intercepted another in the end zone on Union’s final offensive play of the game.

Special teams
K Michael Van Wagner, Sr., Sul Ross State
Van Wagner nailed a 57-yard field goal during the Lobos’ road loss to nationally ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor. The field goal was the longest in all of NCAA Division III this season.

P Steve Layden, Sr., Montclair State
Layden punted 11 times in a win against Kean and helped set up both Red Hawk touchdowns by having punts downed inside Kean’s 1- and 6-yard lines. The win secured the 18th NJAC Championship for MSU and its first league title since 2003.

RET Fritz Waldvogel, So., St. Thomas
Waldvogel scored his fifth and sixth return touchdowns of the season -- the most among all NCAA players -- in Saturday's 63-14 non-conference victory over Northwestern (Minn.). Waldvogel had 246 all-purpose yards on six touches, including a 62-yard reception on the Toms' first play from scrimmage. He had a highlight-reel 50-yard punt return for a TD in the first quarter, then had an 86-yard kickoff return for a score in the second quarter. Waldvogel also had a 39-yard return to near midfield.
