Offense
QB Aaron Syverson, Sr., St. John's
Syverson finished 31-of-42 passing for 448 yards and six touchdowns in the Johnnies' 63-7 win against previously unbeaten Carleton. He became the sixth Johnnie to pass for five touchdowns in a half and the fourth to pass for six or more in a game.
OL Ryan Liddy, Kade Tyrrell, Andrew Berube, John Bruhin, J.R. Nelson, University of New England
UNE defeated Nichols, 62-26, and set program records for points (62), total yards (639), rushing yards (362), rushing TDs (6), longest run (67), and total TDs (9). Nichols registered zero sacks and only one tackle for loss on the afternoon.
RB Garrett Cora, Jr., Franklin
Cora provided a career day in the rain for Franklin in a 35-21 win at Defiance. He carried the ball 30 times for a career-high 318 yards and four touchdowns. All four of his touchdown runs went for 30 or more yards.
WR Collin Brunstein, Sr., Illinois College
Brunstein led all wide receivers with 12 receptions for 265 receiving yards that included four receiving touchdowns. Brunstein's huge performance included two 45-yard touchdowns, a 34-yard, and 6-yard touchdown. Brunstein averaged 22.1 receiving yards per catch.
WR Dae'Shawn Allen, Fr., Western Connecticut
Allen caught six passes for a career-high 211 yards and three touchdowns in WestConn's 56-34 victory at Framingham State. Allen had scoring catches of 60, 48 and 45 yards and also returned a kickoff for 33 yards against the Rams.
WR DeAngelo Hardy, Sr., North Central
Hardy scored on passes of 18, 72 and 67 yards in one half of play, the last one being a shovel pass he caught behind the line of scrimmage and took the rest of the way through the Milikin defense in a 75-3 win. He has caught 13 passes for 500 yards and seven scores over the last three weeks.
TE Thomas Butters, Sr., Wartburg
Butters had three receptions for 29 yards and two TDs in Wartburg's 31-10 win against Dubuque. He also helped offensive line pave the way for Hunter Clasen to rush for 146 yards and a score.
Defense
DE Ryan Bodolus, Sr., Ursinus
Bodolus dominated the William Paterson offense in the Bears' 39-15 win. He registered nine tackles (four solo), five tackles for loss, two and a half sacks, and also forced and recovered a fumble in the contest. As a defense, his efforts helped the Bears limit the Pioneers to just 58 yards of total offense and minus-35 rushing yards.
DT Frank Giannetti, Jr., Salisbury
Giannetti sacked the Montclair State quarterback twice, forcing a fumble and recovering it on one sack, in the Sea Gulls' 31-12 win over the Red Hawks.
DT Jaylen Grimes, Jr., Manchester
Grimes had five total tackles and two sacks for a total loss of 18 yards during Saturday's matchup against Hanover. Each one of his tackles was a tackle for loss, as he finished with four and a half TFL.
DE Nick Mantas, Sr., Carroll
Mantas tied the school's single game records for sacks (4) and tackles for loss (6) and led Carroll in tackles (7) in Saturday's 62-14 win against Elmhurst. He helped the defense allow just 4 rushing yards on the day.
LB Tony Skinner, Sr., Randolph-Macon
Skinner had three takeaways that led to 17 points in a 38-3 win at Bridgewater. Skinner picked off a pass on BC's first series that led to a 56-yard TD pass from Drew Campanale to JoJo Marinella that put RMC up 7-0. His second interception less than a minute later led to a 30-yard field goal by Kyle Ihle as the lead grew to 10-0 with 2:17 left in 1Q. He then recovered a fumble on BC's second snap in second half that led to TD run by Kwesi Clarke to give RMC 31-3 lead. He also had three solo tackles, one tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry.
LB Nick Chapman, Sr., Delaware Valley
Chapman led all players with a career-high 15 tackles (six solo) to go with three TFL and two sacks in the Aggies 20-0 road shutout of FDU-Florham.
LB Adam Stapleton, Jr., Kalamazoo
Stapleton led Kalamazoo's defense with 17 total tackles (nine solo) with one forced fumble resulting in a turnover in the Hornets' 45-23 win over Adrian.
CB Juan Nieves, Jr., North Park
Nieves had seven tackles, four solo, including two and a half tackles for loss. He also had a sack in the red zone, an interception and two pass breakups, in addition to returning a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown.
S Shamond Oliver, So., Lakeland
Finished with eight tackles (seven solo), three tackles for loss, an interception, a forced fumble and a pass breakup as Muskies' defense and special teams made the plays in 17-9 win over Concordia-Chicago. Oliver led the team in tackles and TFLs. His interception set up Lakeland's only offensive touchdown in first quarter, and his forced fumble came in backfield on a third-and-short play early in the fourth quarter that forced CUC to settle for field goal.
S Joe Carchio, Sr., King's
In an important MAC win on the road at Lebanon Valley to upset the Flying Dutchmen on their homecoming, Carchio led the Monarchs defense in the 35-21 win with nine total tackles, one tackle for a loss of 11 yards, a forced fumble, an interception, and a pass breakup.
CB Wyatt Bell, Fr., Rose-Hulman
Bell recorded his first career interception and took it back 19 yards for the touchdown to help Rose-Hulman take control of the game against Bluffton in the first half. Bell would finish the game with four tackles and five pass breakups as he shut down the Bluffton passing offense and held them to just 10-of-33 through the air in the 52-28 victory.
Special teams
K Kyle Rehberg, Jr., Rose-Hulman
Rehberg was a perfect 7-for-7 on extra points and added a career-long 35-yard field goal for his second straight perfect kicking week in the Fightin' Engineers' 52-28 win over Bluffton.
P Joseph Rhodes V, Jr., Case Western Reserve
Rhodes helped the Spartans win the field position battle against Westminster (Pa.) with his stellar play on special teams during the team's 31-6 win. Rhodes punted four times in the game for an average of 47.3 yards per punt, including three punts inside of the 20-yard line. His long punt on the day, a 54 yarder (his longest of the season), pinned Westminster on its 1-yard line.
RET Ravi Dass Jr., Fr., Cortland
Dass returned two punts for 89 yards, including a touchdown, during Cortland's 59-21 win vs. Alfred. His 26-yard return set up Cortland for a scoring drive from the Alfred 33-yard line after Alfred's first possession. After the Saxons' second possession, Dass returned a punt 63 yards for a touchdown - Cortland's first punt return for a TD (excluding blocked punt returns) since 2009.
ST P.J. Hopper, So., Averett
Hopper blocked two field goals for Averett against Hampden-Sydney, keeping the Cougars in the game until the end, a game which the Tigers eventually won, 31-28.
