  • Offense Shines for Brockport in I-90 Bowl Victory

    The College at Brockport football team posted 28 third quarter points and cruised to a 55-22 victory over host Buffalo State on Saturday to retain the I-90 Bowl Trophy for the fourth consecutive season.  Freshman quarterback Freddy June rolled up 291 total yards and played a part in five touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) as the Golden Eagle offense put together its top output of the young season.

    Freshman Raylens Boutin took his first two collegiate interceptions back for touchdowns, just four minutes apart in the third quarter, and the Brockport defense blanked visiting Framingham State as the Golden Eagles won 14-0 on Saturday in their home opener at Bob Boozer Field. Freshman quarterback Freddy June rolled up 207 total yards -- including 112 on the ground – in his first collegiate start.

Joe Germinerio surpassed Joe Scibilia for the career passing yards record with 6,701, solidifying himself as one of Brockport’s best. Germinerio accomplished this feat with only two years under center.
