The annual game, which features a representative from the E8 and the Liberty League, was scheduled to take place this Saturday, Nov. 17, at Cortland since it was the E8's turn to host.

November 7, 2018 Cortland Football Game Notes vs. Ithaca - 60th Cortaca Jug Game (Nov. 10 at Cortland) Cortland hosts Ithaca in the annual Cortaca Jug rivalry game - one of the country's top Division III games each year and once referred to as "The Biggest Little Game in the Nation" by Sports Illustrated. This is the 60th time that Cortland and Ithaca are playing for the Cortaca Jug. The schools actually started playing in 1930 and have met every year since 1948.

October 31, 2018 Cortland Football Game Notes vs. Brockport (Nov. 3 at Brockport) Cortland and Brockport play in a "winner-take-all" game for the Empire 8 title and an NCAA Division III tournament automatic berth as the Red Dragons travel to face the nationally third-ranked Golden Eagles. If Cortland wins, Brockport can still claim a share of the league title, but the Red Dragons would earn the NCAA berth based on the head-to-head win. If Brockport wins, the Golden Eagles would finish no worse than 6-1 in the league and all of the other teams would have two or more losses.
