November 10, 2018 MIT Claims NEWMAC Championship With 22-7 Win Over Springfield On Senior Day, the MIT football team forced three Springfield turnovers and turned those into 12 points, en route to a 22-7 final and the outright 2018 NEWMAC Conference Championship. Prior to the game, the Engineers recognized the senior class for their contributions to the MIT program during their careers.
November 3, 2018 MIT Improves to 8-1 With 20-0 Road Shutout of Norwich On Saturday afternoon, the MIT football team picked up its third shutout victory in its last four games with a 20-0 road shutout of Norwich University at Sabine Field. Today’s win sets up next week’s matchup with Springfield College as both teams will have a chance for at least a share of the NEWMAC Championship.

September 15, 2018 MIT Downs Endicott in 31-29 Road Final to Move to 3-0 Led by a pair of touchdowns from sophomore Keithen Shepard (Vancouver, Wash.) and a number of key special teams plays, the MIT football team held off Endicott College for a 31-29 road win on Saturday afternoon. The non-conference win is the second straight in the all-time series for MIT and improves the Engineers to a perfect 3-0 on the season.
