November 17, 2018 Ithaca Drops Heartbreaker to Utica in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl, 44-42 ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team suffered a heartbreaking shootout loss to Utica College, 44-42, in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl on Saturday afternoon at Cornell’s Schoellkopf Field. Utica connected on a 36-yard field goal with under a minute left in regulation to take the lead and an interception on IC’s final possession sealed the win.
November 14, 2018 GAME NOTES: Ithaca Closes Season on Saturday vs. Utica in ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team will look to put the finishing touches on a successful 2018 season as the Bombers host former Empire 8 Conference rival Utica College in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl on Saturday at Cornell’s Schoellkopf Field. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. Ithaca is 8-2 on the season, while Utica brings a 6-4 mark into Saturday’s contest.
November 13, 2018 Seventeen Named All-Liberty League; Gladney and Minogue Players of the Year TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League announced its all-conference football teams on Tuesday afternoon and seventeen members of the Ithaca College program were honored on one of three teams. Highlights the all-league selections were junior Will Gladney, who was named Offensive Player of the Year, and senior Pat Minogue, who was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year.

November 10, 2018 The Jug Stays in Ithaca; Bombers Down Cortland, 24-21 CORTLAND, N.Y. – For the second consecutive season, the Ithaca College football team defeated SUNY Cortland in the annual Cortaca Jug Game, as the Bombers took down the host Red Dragons, 24-21, in the 60th edition of the rivalry at the SUNY Cortland Sports Complex on Saturday. With the win, Ithaca is now 8-2 on the season, while Cortland falls to 7-3.
