Two Westminster (Mo.) Seniors Honored By UMAC

Fulton, Mo. - Seniors Tarren Collins and Jake Hilton have earned Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week recognition for their play in Westminster College's 20-17 season opening home win over Rhodes College this past Saturday.

Collins, a senior linebacker from St. Louis, Missouri (Kirkwood High School), earned Defensive Player of the Week recognition. He recorded 13 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss, while breaking up two passes.

Hilton, a senior kicker from Kirkwood, Missouri (Kirkwood High School), picked up Special Team Player of the Week honors. He kicked the game-winning field goal in the closing seconds. Hilton kicked two field goals and converted two extra points to finish with eight points. Hilton, who is the Westminster career field goal kicker with 11 field goals, tied the school record he shares with his two field goals in the win.
