Watt Named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week

ROYAL OAK, Mich. -  For the sixth time in his career, Eric Watt (Kentland, Ind./South Newton) has been named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week.

Watt threw for four touchdowns and ran for another in leading unbeaten Trine to a 51-7 victory over LaGrange (Ga.) Saturday. He completed 17-of-24 passes for 195 yards and added 23 yards rushing. The Thunder are now 5-0.

The Thunder are ranked tenth in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25, and fifteenth in the D3football.com Poll.

Trine hosts Alma Saturday at Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
