WAUKESHA, Wis. - Ben Lockton helped lead Benedictine to a win over Maranatha on senior day and now has been selected as the Northern Athletics Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Lockton recorded all three turnovers in the game, recovering a pair of fumbles in addition to intercepting a pass. Lockton was credited with a 36 yard return on the INT as a penalty negated what would have been a 63-yard return for a touchdown. The senior defensive lineman led Benedictine with 12 tackles including 3.5 for loss while also breaking up a pass as the Eagles posted a 34-6 win to close the home portion of the season.

Benedictine ends the season on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. against Lakeland.

Maintenance in progress.
